Getting Started
Whether you are seeking help for yourself, a loved one, or your organization, I applaud you for investing your time and energy into this journey. I welcome the opportunity to work with you and look forward to being by your side every step of the way.
Phone Consultation
Starting with a brief phone consultation, I explore what has led you to reach out to me and determine whether or not I will be able to help you based on my training and experience. If I am not the best fit for you, I will certainly try to refer you to someone who may be able to help.
Therapy Process
During the first few sessions I will conduct an evaluation to determine what approach may be most helpful for you. Together, we will also develop a treatment plan. If needed, I will also consult with other professionals on your treatment team. We will then commit to work together or I will refer you to other professionals and/or services.
Insurance
I am not in network with insurance plans. However, the majority of my clients receive some form of reimbursement from their insurance company. I will provide the necessary documentation that you can use to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Click here for the Insurance/Benefits form, which tells you what questions to ask your insurance provider to determine your out-of-network coverage.
New Client Forms
Once we establish that we will be a good therapeutic fit and have decided to move forward with scheduling an appointment, I will email the intake forms through a HIPAA compliant client portal called Simple Practice. Once you complete the intake packet and upload your credit card information and picture ID, I will contact you to schedule your first appointment. Please complete the intake documents within a week of receiving the link; before the link expires.
Rates
Fees will be discussed during the phone consultation.
Payment
Cash and Credit Cards (Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express) are accepted for payment at the time of service. If you have a
Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Saving Account (HSA), you may also use them to pay for therapy services. Please contact your insurance company for additional benefits information.
Cancellation Policy
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule appointments, I ask that notify me via text, phone call, or email at least two business days in advance. This gives me enough time to offer the appointment time to someone else. Please do not reply to the automated reminder text or emails as I do not receive those messages. Failure to cancel at least two business days in advance will result in a charge for the full session fee.
