Starting with a brief phone consultation, I explore what has led you to reach out to me and determine whether or not I will be able to help you based on my training and experience. If I am not the best fit for you, I will certainly try to refer you to someone who may be able to help.
Fees will be discussed during the phone consultation. I have a limited number of reduced fee sessions for therapy clients with financial limitations.
During the first few sessions I will conduct an evaluation to determine what approach may be most helpful for you. Together, we will also develop a treatment plan. If needed, I will also consult with other professionals on your treatment team. We will then commit to work together or I will refer you to other professionals and/or services.
I am not in network with insurance plans. However, the majority of my clients receive some form of reimbursement from their insurance company. I will provide the necessary documentation that you can use to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. New Client Forms
Once we have scheduled the initial counseling session, I will email the intake forms through my HIPAA compliant client portal callled Simple Practice. You can then complete the forms and upload your demographic information, credit card information, and picture ID. Please complete this information at least 24 hours prior to our first session so I will have time to review them before we meet.
Cash and Credit Cards (Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express) are accepted for payment at the time of service. If you have a
Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Saving Account (HSA), you may also use them to pay for therapy services. Please contact your insurance company for additional benefits information.
Cancelling your appointment in advance helps me offer the appointment time to another client in need. If you do not attend your scheduled appointment and you have not notified me at least 48 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
